At our June 28th meeting we presented an Eagle Scout Award to Edwin Andrus, DeWitt Clinton Awards to, Mr. William Irwin, and Pastor John Koppenaal, two 50 year service awards to, Bro. Raymond Carlson and W\Ralph Douglas, and two 25 year service awards to, W\James Spencer, and R\W\Burton Barrenger. That was June. In July we had the Food and Beverage concession at CLERMONT State Park on the 4th of July. We had a very successful day, thanks to all who worked that day.. Next we catered a 'Surprise Party', for Bro. Robert and Alma Bowman's 50th Wedding Anniversary. This was followed up with our 38th Annual Beef BarBQ on the 29th which was also a very successful event and thanks go to all. In August we took part in the manning of the Fair Booth at the Dutchess County Fair.

SOMETHING TO PONDER!
'REMAIN A FREEMASON'is this a question or a positive statement? It depends on your mind set. Because of private or business life, you may not be able to attend meetings or actively
participate in Lodge affairs and may therefore feel that continued membership may be a 'VOID'. THINK AGAIN! Being a Freemason is living a life according to your Masonic vows and Masonic principles and equally
important is that you support a cause you believe in. Your membership helps continue your Fraternity for generations to come, where in we bid good men of moral character to join our ranks. You leave the legacy of a
Fraternity that encourages love of family, love of GOD, love of country, love of living a life of high moral principles. Your membership continues the legacy of the Masonic Fraternity which inculcates and practices
the commendable virtues of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.
On the 8th of November I am planning a Brother Bring a Friend program, and I have enclosed a 'Memory Jogger' for you to note any prospective candidates on and for you to return to the
lodge by October 18, 2000. If you have a candidate that you want to have acted upon sooner, please contact the Secretary for a petition.
