Brethren,
Thank you to all those Brothers and friends that contributed their time and effort to make our Fall Chicken Bar-B-Que a success.
From all reports the customers were very pleased, they are our best advertisment. 280 were served.
Bro. Stanley Lynk is now a resident at the Masonic Home in Utica, please stop by and visit if you happen to be in the
area. R\W\William E. Johnson is home recovering from a nasty fall, please stop and visit with Bill at your convenience.
On the 7th of October chief Garbologist Bro. Barrie Kolbinskie is asking for volunteers for our Autumn AdoptAHighway cleanup.
Plan to assemble at the lodge at 8:30AM. This is an excellent opportunity to be of service to the community. The lodge has Route 199 from Route 9G to the intersection of Route 199 and Route 308 in Rock City.
Please let Barrie know that you will be part of the crew, 8766979. Don't forget a free lunch is part of the program.
You are cordially and fraternally invited to attend the 1730th communication on October 11th. Lodge will open at 7:00 PM, and
the business of the evening will be the conferral of the Entered Apprentice degree on a class of Candidates. Officer dress will be formal. There will be rehearsal on the 8th of October at 7:00PM.
You are cordially and fraternally invited to attend the 1731st comunication on October 25th. Lodge will open at 7:30 PM. The
business of the evening will be the Official Visit of the Assistant Grand Lecturer. These sessions are always a valuable way of increasing your Masonic knowledge, please plan to atttend and support our AGL.
October 26th we are hosting the joint meeting of the Brotherhood Association and the Greene-Ulster District Masters and Wardens
meeting. There will be a dinner at 6:30PM, please make reservations by contacting either myself
or Brother Herbert Simmons (plone numbers on back). This is the best way of getting to know your brothers in both districts and what events are taking place.
On the 4th of November we will be conducting our Annual Beef Bar-B-Que. As in past years we need all the help we can get at the
dinner itself as well as selling tickets. Please mark this on your calendar and post the enclosed flyer as a reminder.
"I CAN'T DO IT" never accomplishes anything, "I WILL TRY HAS PERFORMED WONDERS".
