Brethren,
Quote of the Month:
'The way a person takes action(or fails to) reveals his or her character'
On March 14, 2001 the Lodge is conducting a 'Brother-Bring-A-Friend' Night and I am extending a request for you to attend this meeting, and to bring your spouse/significant
other. We have had an excellent response from the Brothers with their 'Memory Joggers'. We have sent 37 invitations out to prospective members. Responses so far show that a solid majority of the
invitees will be attending along with their partners. The future of the Fraternity lies in replenishing the membership with new/younger brothers and as such we need to make that extra effort to attend this
important event demonstrating what we are about and show how vibrant the lodge is. The schedule is: The Lodge will open at 6:00PM, and I plan to close the lodge by 6:30PM, 6:30-7:00PM will be 'get acquainted
time', at 7:00PM we will be serving a buffet dinner(at no cost!). After the dinner we will adjourn to the Lodge room where the program will take place. The plan calls for the program to be completed by
9:00PM, and dessert/coffee will be served downstairs. The total cost to the brothers attending will be roughly 3 hours of your time. Also by this writing I am requesting brothers to 'volunteer' to bring a
dessert. Please contact Bro. Herbert Simmons at 758-8788 March 8th and let him know if you will be attending and will bring a guest
